Vidya Academy of Science and Technology Technical Campus, Kilimanoor, hosted the remarkable Graduation Day for the seventh outgoing batch on 28 October 2023.Col. Sanjeev Nair CEO, Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram was the Chief Guest and Sri. Banarji Bhaskaran Trustee VICT & Ex Vidya Youth UAE Coordinator Founder & CEO Onward Business Consulting and Training LLP Trivandrum was as the President of the function.157 students registered and 150 students participated for the graduation ceremony. The students along with their families witnessed the unforgettable event in the history of Vidya Academy of Science and Technology Technical Campus. The Chief Guest, President of the function, Principal and other dignitaries were ushered to the stage with the academic procession led by the band. The invocation was done by Sumimol S Ms. Arathy Lekshmi S and Ms. Aryasree Ani of S7 CE and Dr. T Mathavaraj Ravikumar, Principal delivered the Welcome address. Col. Sanjeev Nair delivered the graduation address. Sir urged the students to study more and to develop their skills to be a successful engineer. Students are more exposed to the Digital World and nowadays they are more attracted to social media and its aspects. Sir urged the students to pick up any sports or game which they like in life and to practice it so that students can improve their physical and mental health. Sir admired the college for the facilities and opportunities it provided for the students. Dr. T Mathavaraj Ravikumar, Principal presented the memento to the Chief Guest as a token of love and respect towards him. Brig. K. S. Shaji, Director presented the toppers of each branch. Prajaraj (Team 1 Coordinator, VICT) distributed the certificates. 52 students of the Civil Engineering Department participated in the function. Dr. Brijilal Ruban C HoD Computer Science Engineering Department presented the students and Dr. Jayarenjini. N (HoD, ECE) and Ms. Anitha Vijayan (Trustee Coordinator) distributed the certificates. 28 students of the Computer Science Engineering department participated in the ceremony.Dr. Jayarenjini. N, HoD Electronics and Communication Engineering presented the candidates. Dr. L. S. Jayanthi (HoD AS) and Dr. Thilakan. (HoD ME) distributed the certificates. 21 students participated in the ceremony. Dr. Pravin Rose T, HoD Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering presented the students and Prof K. Vijayakumar, (Academic Coordinator) and Sri. Gopakumar Gopi (Team 2 Coordinator, VICT) distributed the certificates. 17 students participated in the ceremony from the EEE Department.Dr. Thilakan. H, HoD Mechanical Engineering Department presented the students and Dr. T. Mathavaraj Ravikumar (Principal) and Dr. K. Sargunan (HoD, CE) distributed the certificates. 32 students from the Mechanical Engineering Department participated in the ceremony.The Graduation Pledge was administered by the President of the function and the ceremony concluded with the National Anthem. The academic procession led by the band and later a photo session was arranged with the students and the respective staffs of each department. The college management also arranged a sumptuous lunch for the whole gathering. The event was co-ordinated and well organised under the guidance of the graduation day Convener Dr. C.Brijilal Ruban.
